This event will feature farmers and members of Qachuu Aloom and the Garden’s Edge speaking about their own experience saving traditional seeds. \nMusic and Food\nat Milagro Allegro Community Garden\n115 S. Avenue 56\, Los Angeles\, CA 90042\n$5 donation \nFor the last twelve years\, Qachuu Aloom Farmers Association has been cultivating native seeds\, helping to revive the social ties and oral histories of the community almost lost during the prolonged civil war. Qachuu Aloom is now working towards the rights of communities to determine their food and agriculture systems in relation to culture\, health\, and sustainability. \nThe Garden’s Edge supports sustainable agriculture\, micro-enterprise\, and education in rural communities in order to revitalize cultural knowledge and improve economic well-being. \nGet event updates by RSVP-ing on Facebook!
