Join Milagro Allegro and Art In The Park for Semillas Sin Fronteras from 6-8 pm to celebrate the start of our Community Seed Library!! This event will feature farmers and members of Qachuu Aloom and the Garden’s Edge speaking about their own experience saving traditional seeds.

For the last twelve years, Qachuu Aloom Farmers Association has been cultivating native seeds, helping to revive the social ties and oral histories of the community almost lost during the prolonged civil war. Qachuu Aloom is now working towards the rights of communities to determine their food and agriculture systems in relation to culture, health, and sustainability.
The Garden’s Edge supports sustainable agriculture, micro-enterprise, and education in rural communities in order to revitalize cultural knowledge and improve economic well-being.
