Coffee Pot Farm, in conjunction with Teesto Chapter will be hosting an AMARANTH PLANTING workshop on 14 June beginning at 3 PM (DST) at the chapter’s vegetable garden/cornfield. The planting workshop will be presented by the Garden’s Edge with Qachuu Aloom Association from Guatemala. The workshop will cover a history of, and planting and cultivation of amaranth. This will be part one of a two part presentation. The second will cover harvesting and threshing/seeding; cleaning and winnowing seeds; cooking and recipes, etc., in September.
